She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Henry and Katie Swann Jacobs; and her siblings, Frances Torain, Alexander Jacobs, Vince Jacobs, Russell Jacobs, Excell Jacobs, Jim Dallas Jacobs, Donnell Jacobs, Dennis Jacobs and Brady Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Diane C. Harrison of Manhattan, Steve Paylor of Durham and Michael Paylor of Roxboro; her siblings, Leroy Jacobs (Judy) of Hillsborough, Connell Jacobs of Cedar Grove, Dolly J. Bumpass of Durham, Waddell Jacobs (Mary) of Cedar Grove and Kenis Jacobs (Wendy) of Burlington; and her close friend Larry Bright of Durham. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
