He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom J. Jones and Mary Drucilla Austin Jones; his former wife Helen Louise Jones; his siblings, Edward Jones and Doris Bailey; and his daughter-in-law Adele Alford.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Kiser Jones; his sons, Wayne Alford, Leo Thomas Jones, Jr. (Pam) and Robin Earl Jones (Lynda); and his grandchildren, Pam Francis (Marc), Mark Alford (Paula), Kelly Houghland (Chris), Troy Jones (Dana), Stephanie Hepner (Ken), Ashley Jones and Justin Jones (Candi). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
