Caldwell (Montrel) of McLeansville, NC and Lester Ronald Thomas, Jr. of Durham, NC.; his grandchildren, Robert Jefferson of Apex, NC, Vincent Hart Thomas, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC, Miya Nicole Thomas of Beaufort, SC, Taron Thomas of Durham, NC, Lester Ronald Thomas III of Durham, NC, Montrel Caldwell, Jr. of Greensboro, NC and Chase Caldwell of Greensboro, NC; his pet BookieToo; and his sisters, Carolyn Thomas Harris (Calvin Sr.) of Oxford, NC and Cheryl T. Smith of Durham, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary United Church of Christ (1715 Athens Ave, Durham, NC 27707). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
