She was predeceased by: her parents, Corinne Lanthier and Omer Lanthier of Saint-Placide; and her sister Raymonde Lanthier of Laval, Québec.. She is survived by: her husband Christopher H. Gussow; her children, Catherine Linnea McLaughlin (Daniel) of Winston-Salem, NC, Stephen Craig Gussow (Julie) of Allen, TX and Christa Elisabeth Mayo (Rob) of Blounts Creek, NC; her brother-in-law David Gussow (Margaret) of Ottawa, ON; her grandchildren, Isabel, Robert Mayo and Jenny Gussow; her sister Marie-Paule (Lanthier); her brother-in-law Jean-Pierre Bélanger of Saint-Nicolas, Québec; her cousin Muguette Landry of Québec; and her nieces and nephews, Patrice Church (Laura), Myriam Church (Michel), Daniel Gussow (Yvonne) and Elisabeth Gussow. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating your time to visit those friends and family members who are struggling with dementia and end-of-life challenges.
