He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eva Humphrey and Sam Humphrey; his daughter Lloydette Humphrey Hoof (Bruce); his granddaughter Mary Lloyd Hoof Preble (Kurt); his great grandchildren, Jack of Durham, Allison of Durham and Wright Preble of Durham; his friends, Albert Page, Gus Holshouser, David Ransom, Hank Bostic, Matthew Saunders, Charlie Richmond, Tom, Maryann Maloy, Bill and Polly LeFevre; his wife Sarah Louise Corona; his granddaughter Allison Elizabeth Hoof of Durham; his brother Boyd Curtis Humphrey of Beckley; and also, Glen Bragg (Mary) of Summersville, WV and Tom Brannon of Louisville, KY. He was also cherished by five nieces and nephews.
