He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anne Stiff; his children, Karen Hale (Michael) of Sarasota, Kathryn Young (Donald), Thomas Redick (Katie), John Redick (Ann) of Durham and Daniel Redick (Dawn) of Cary, NC.; and his grandchildren, Andrew Hale, Laura Palkovitz (Ian), Sarah Manson (John), Matthew Hale (Esther), Samuel Young (Laura), Paul Young, Margaret Redick, Emmeline Redick, Conner Redick and Lily Redick.
