She is survived by: her daughters, Genea L. McKnight and Shawntae L. McKnight; her sisters, Janet T. Grady of Kinston and Alice Jane T. O'Neal of Zebulon; and her granddaughter Leilani Dio Parker. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the Greater St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (1102 Juniper St, Durham, NC 27701). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
