Lynwood Strickland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynwood Strickland (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on July 20, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lynwood may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lynwood touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bardy Strickland and Dorothy Mae Stephenson Strickland; and his son Tony Strickland. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Sherrill Strickland (Sherri); his grandsons, Andrew Duncan Strickland and Samuel Joseph Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Jaxon Strickland, Marlee Strickland and AJ Strickland.
