She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Howell and Leon Howell; her husband James Lucas; and her grandson Walter Harris. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Hester, Yvonne Harris, Sheryl Davis, Darryl Hester Sr. (Patricia Hester) and Cornell Hester; and her grandchildren, Michael Hester, Terrance Hester, Kristen Hester, Tracee Hester, Darryl Hester Jr., Tiffany Hester, Brianna Hester and Jennifer Silvestro. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
