We are sad to announce that, on December 25, 2025, at the age of 97, Margaret Hazel Swanson (Durham, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Richard King and Alma Hopson King; her siblings, Mary Edith King and Lowell King (Norma); and her grandson Chad Swanson.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Swanson; her children, Warren Swanson (Amy) of Selma and Ann Keyes (Paul) of Durham; her grandchildren, Haley Johnson (Eric), Kristyn Clancy (Shane), Lara Lee (Justin) and Ben Swanson (Samantha); and her great grandchildren, Emeri, Chloe, Hope, Walker and Claire.
Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to Lowe's Grove Baptist Church or Duke Homecare and Hospice.
