With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margarete Schack Mendenhall (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on October 3, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Schack and Emilie Schack; her husband Aubrey Mendenhall; her son Karl Mendenhall; her grandsons, Justin Mendenhall and Collie Wayne Mendenhall; and her sister Liselotte Seifert.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Mendenhall Willis; her grandchildren, Caroline Mendenhall and Grayson Mendenhall (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Maddy Laneve, Caedon Weaver, Elena Mendenhall and Karl Mendenhall II.
