She was predeceased by: her parents, William O'Brient and Melinda O'Brient; and her sister Linda Matthews. She is survived by: her son Anthony Thomas (Kristina); her sister Martha Atkins (James); her grandchildren, Savannah Thomas, Tony Thomas Jr. and Ember Thomas; her nephew Jason Johnson (Amanda); her great-nephew Eli Johnson; her great-niece Haley Johnson; and also, Anita Griffin (Aaron), Kody Griffin and Tim Thomas.
A reception will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gathering Room at Clements Funeral Home (1117 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705).
