Marie Eleanor Anstrom Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Marie Eleanor Anstrom in Durham, North Carolina. Marie, born on January 25, 1942, passed away on October 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Alvin and Eleanor O'Hara Yonkin. She is survived by: her siblings, Jane, Charlie, Christopher and John; her sons, Carl, Marc (Cathy), Kevin (Laura) and Gus (Nancy); her daughter-in-law Paula; and her grandchildren, Eleanor, Maxwell, Karlsson, Jack, Eli, Lindsey and Lauren. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (810 W Chapel Hill St, Durham, NC 27701).
