It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Vernell Crabtree (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter S. Crabtree and Lillian Vernell Crabtree; and her siblings, William E. Crabtree and Annie Crabtree Wagoner. She is survived by: her sibling's children, William Russell Wagoner (Stefanie) and Sheila Crawford (Mark); her great-nephews, Wyatt, Tanner Wagoner, Zachary and Jessie Crawford; her great-niece Marla Crawford; Currie Johnson and Brady Wagoner.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705). A reception will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gathering Room at Clements Funeral Home (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705).
