He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Lucille King and Carlton King; his caregiver Rosa Linda King; his daughter Leslie King; and his stepsons, Jason-Katie, Joshua-Idu and Jonathan. He was also cherished by grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Clements Funeral Chapel (1105 Broad St, Durham, NC 27705). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations will be made to Chapel Hill Breast Cancer Foundation.
