It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marta Irene Schultz (Durham, North Carolina), born in Naperville, Illinois, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Marta Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Linda McDaniel Schultz and Gerald Harvey Schultz. She is survived by : her siblings, Laurel Schultz, Jennifer Reeves and Eric; her niece Chelsea Schmidt; and her nephew Andy Schultz.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hall-Wynne Funeral Service (1113 W Main St, Durham, NC 27701).
