With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Oakley Parker (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on October 24, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thomas Oakley, Jr. and Estelle Braswell Oakley. She is survived by: her husband Lonnie "Jim" Parker; her stepchildren, Jimmy Parker (Becky), Barbara Whitfield (Adam) and Jessica Gunter; her grandchildren, Haleigh Parker, Layla Parker, Lonnie Parker, Lenora Parker, Lillie Whitfield, Emma Whitfield and Tucker Whitfield; her sisters, Vicky VanDam, Cheryl Lancaster (Mitch) and Anna Carter (Hal); her cousin Paula Burton (Jeff); and her pet Chloe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Riverside Baptist Church.
