With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marti S. Bennett (Durham, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathus Iassic Self and Lela Mable Woody Self; and her husband James Bennett. She is survived by: her children, Christi Bennett and Dr. Mark Scroggs; and her grandchildren, Sam, Sophia, Kelley, Haviland, Cameron and Elliott.
