She was predeceased by : her parents, Ellie Montague and Elijah Montague; her husband Thomas Laine Peed; and her sisters, Virginia Bullard, Rachel Hicks and Shirely Brinkley.
She is survived by : her grandchildren, Jennifer Shimer, Clay Bryant, Mary Catherine Dillon, Alexander Mills, Thomas Peed and Bryson Peed; and her close friend Jock Kennedy. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
