She was predeceased by: her parents, Mertie Lee Stainback and Nora Mae Ayscue Stainback; her former husband William White; her husband Clarence Pearce; and her siblings, Willie Lee Stainback, Milton Edwin Stainbeck, Carl Allen Stainback, George Melvin Stainback, Annie Fuller, Pearl Moss, Elaine Reavis, Nell Hope and Shirley Inscoe.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike White (Karen), Ken White, Gerald White and Mark White; her grandchildren, Chris White (Jennifer), Emily White and Chelsea Hodsdon (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Ava Rose DeHaro, William White, Eli White, Alana Hodsdon, Bella Hodsdon, Ethan Hodsdon and Jackson Hodsdon; and her sister Polly Averette of Knightdale. She is also survived by numerous loving family members and friends.
