We announce the death of Mazell Brame of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 98. Mazell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling McMauley and Lillian Frazier Watson; her husband Rudolph Brame; and her siblings, Austin Watson, Guthrie Watson, Margaret Kelly and Rebecca Tunstall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon B. Faust (Mike) of Durham and Rita Brame of Durham; her grandchildren, Dawn Faust and Jaime Faust (Carlos); her great grandchildren, Logan Jennings (Emily), Chandler Thompson, Mason Thompson (Taylor), Jaxon Tapp and Tripp Tapp; and her great great grandchildren, Eloise and Zachary.
