It is with great sadness that we announce the death of McKinley Fulton of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though McKinley may no longer walk beside us, their memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those McKinley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In their absence, their spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
McKinley is survived by: wife LaLainya Newman Fulton; daughters, Amani, Amiya and MaKenzie Fulton; stepdaughter Whitney Newman of Durham, NC; sons, Anton Silver (Yvette) of Durham, NC and Ronald Williams of New York; and sister Shirley Davis of New York. McKinley is also survived by Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
