He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jule, Nellie Mangum and Tommy; his parents, Melvin Mangum and Mildred Mangum; his brother Julian Mangum (Lula); his siblings-in-law, Sandra Hill and Millard Mangum; and his grandson Joshua Bradley.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Bennie Tilley; his daughter Debra; his granddaughter Hailey Mangum Price (Dylan); and his stepgrandchildren, Ben Sullivan (Caroline), Jamie Sullivan (Austin Johnson) and Justin Sullivan. He is also survived by sister-in-law, a brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
