He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sheets and Ruth Sheets (Bomberger); his wife Barb (Bargen); his brother Jim; his sister-in-law Beverly Sheets; and his nephew James.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Weber (Jeff) of Lincoln, Michael Nelson (Melissa) of Grand Island and Jeffery Nelson (MJ) of Lincoln, Nebraska.; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Joshua Weber, Skylee, Tycen and Kameron Nelson.
