He was predeceased by: his wife Elinor Klein; his sister Shamiram Armen; and his parents, Akabi and Sarkis Ciftan. He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne Hens; his son-in-law Marc Hens; his grandson Camron Hens; his siblings-in-law, Robert Klein and Yolande Klein; his nieces, Arlene Kraus, Ani Kindall and Johanna Klein; and his nephew Dana Klein.
