“I’ve known Mike for over 30 years, from when I was a struggling postdoc at Duke. Later, we lived in the same neighborhood and ran into each other on the community trails 4 or 5 times a year. We would talk for an hour or more and catch up with each other’s lives. Mike was always so kind and he was such a great guy. I am so sad for Gail and their daughter. He should have had longer on this earth. I miss him. Ann Colosia”
