It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mozelle A. Pearce of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Allen and Almeta Stone Allen; her husband Willard Pearce; her children, Eddie Pearce, Pamela Cates and Linda Pearce Ward; her granddaughter Tonya Carver; her great grandchild Stacey Cates; and her brother Jack Allen.
She is survived by: her daughter Erma Salazar (Joe); her sister Marie Ellis; her grandchildren, Kenneth Pearce (Jennie), Tabbetha Cates (David), Tony Salazar (Janelle), Teresa Hayden (Jason) and Michael Salazar; and her great grandchildren, Kenny Pearce Jr., Jessica Pearce, Cameron Pearce, Carly Pearce, Zoe Pearce, Christopher Cates, Donnie Cates, Angel Page, Christina Page, Shalynn Page, Alexis Salazar, Matthew Salazar and Taylor Salazar. She is also survived by 6 great-great-grandchildren.
