Nancy Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Smith (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Wyrick Turpin; and her grandparents, Jesse and Charles Wyrick. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Hallan (Brett) and Amy Grigg (Ken Howiler); her grandchildren, Courtney Taylor (David), Ellen Louise Grigg, Powell Hallan (Danelle), Marjorie Anne Grigg (Guillermo Diaz), Julia Margaret Grigg (Pablo Basso) and Will Hallan (Noelle); and her siblings, Jane Turpin and Mike Turpin. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
