She is survived by: her brother Clyde Ange; and her caregivers, Lila and Barry Oakley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home Chapel (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703). A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (3712 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC 27704).
