She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Mitchell; her children, Christopher Todd Mitchell and Courtney Marie Evans (Dustin); her grandson Carter Reaves Evans; her siblings, Buster Smith of Durham, Bennie Smith of Durham and Carolyn Cobb of Mebane; and her niece Sharon Craun.
