It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel W. Howell of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Rachel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rachel farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelia Daniels (Al); and her siblings, Mary Ruth Taylor (Berkley) and Oscar Lee Howell. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
