It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reginald Bland of Durham, North Carolina, born in Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Brenda Waddell Bland and Thomas Ross Bland; and his sister Jackie Harrington. He is survived by: his children, Lashinda Leak of Staley, NC, DeVante Ragland of Sanford, NC, Krystin Smith (Corey) of Durham, NC and Evan Bland of Pittsboro, NC; his grandchildren, DeVante Ragland Jr., Alijah Smith and Alayah Smith; his siblings, Shirley Bland, Teretha Rone, Anita Rone, Schneika Garland, Henry Rone, Mike Rone and Kent Rone (Wanda); his aunts, Florence Rhone and Sarah Kirby; and his close friend Cierra Alston. He is also survived by seven nieces; ten nephews; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; many other relatives and friends.
