He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grey and Helen Brennan Stelzenmuller; and his son Robert Alan Stelzenmuller Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Liz (Harvey); his daughters, Helen Eve Stelzenmuller (Durham), Lee Ann Stelzenmuller and Betsy Stelzenmuller Harlan (Asheville); his children-in-law, William Robert Harlan, III and Donna May Stelzenmuller; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Jane Stelzenmuller, Robert Alan Stelzenmuller III, Brennan Harlan Lovejoy (Jonathan), Mary Chamberlain Harlan and William Robert Harlan, IV; his great grandchildren, Elliot James Lovejoy and Grace Alexandra Lovejoy; and his sister Anne Stelzenmuller White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
