He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Greer, Sr. (Cleve) and Annie Ethel Osborne Greer; his wife Shirley Leftridge; and his siblings, Nita, Kathleen, Peggy, Wilma, Eleanor, Myrtle, Ann, Bus, Bill, Jack and Gene.
He is survived by: his brother Nick; his children, Robert D. Greer, Jr. (Cindy), Philip T. Greer (Lesa), Annie Greer Baggett (Dale) and Sharon Greer Addison (Jeff); and his daughter-in-law Paula Kidd Greer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
