He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Elizabeth (Jackson) and James Olin Kennedy; his wife Peg Kennedy; his sons, Larry Gregory and Steven Charles; and his brother Jeffery Joseph.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Kennedy (Bill) of Durham, NC, Denise Kennedy (Myron) of Altamonte Springs, FL, Jon Kennedy (Carol) of York, PA, Mark Kennedy (Chloe) of Los Angeles, CA and Jim Kennedy (Dina) of Las Vegas, NV; his sister Sharon Kennedy Nolan (Larry) of Mansfield, TX; his niece Tiffany McCoy (Doug) of Arlington, TX; and his nephew Mark Nolan (Dawn) of Irving, TX. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great nieces, and great-great niece and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
