It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lynch Wilbur (Durham, North Carolina), born in Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sydney Wilbur and Elizabeth Ellen Lynch Wilbur; his brothers, Charles Roger Wilbur and Richard Snow Wilbur; and his son Mark Laurence Wilbur.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Marie Doucette of Chicago, IL.; his children, Martha, Ralph, Ellen, Margaret and Lenore Plymire; his son-in-law Fleet Plymire; and his grandchildren, Hailey, Mason and Fleet Plymire. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
