He is survived by: his parents, Phifer Kenneth Corpening and Sarah Fullwood Corpening; his wife Kimberly Corpening; his children, Jeffon Corpening, Carolyn Corpening, Kenneth Corpening (Jada), Kendra Corpening and Reagan Corpening; and his siblings, Darrell Corpening, Craig Corpening, Yolandra Corpening and Jeffrey-Allyn Corpening (Melissa). He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, coworkers, and his church family.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home & Crematory (1002 Moorman Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Morning Star Baptist Church (1513 Rorer Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016).
