He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bailey Ladd; his sons, Jeff (Stephanie), Michael (Kelly) and Kevin (Brooklyn); his siblings, Jimmy E. Ladd IV (Linda), Diane Barham and Pamela Isaacs (Larry); his grandchildren, Bailey, Reese, Hunter, Grey, Walker, Miller and Collins; and his sister-in-law Nancy Bailey.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Redwood Ruritan Club (4803 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC 27704). Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home (211 S Miami Blvd, Durham, NC 27703). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Olive Branch Baptist Church (123 Olive Branch Rd, Durham, NC 27703). A reception was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Redwood Ruritan Club (4803 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC 27704).
