He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Bell; his daughter Tanya Bell Chase (Robert Michael Chase); his granddaughters, Courtney Renee Chase and Caitlyn Ann Chase; and his sisters, Kathryn "Kathi" Gelles, Annette Bell Jones and Nancy Penelope "Penny" Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Animal Protection Society of Durham (APS), a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to compassionate animal care since 1970.
