He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Mitchell and Julia Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen; his children, David Mitchell (Vicki), Leigh Matan (Rob) and Stephen Mitchell (Tammy); his grandchildren, Ashley McCane and Ally Mitchell; and his brother Mike Mitchell.
