It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Lewis Thompson (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Allen Thompson, Jr.; his grandparents, William Allen Thompson, Sr. and Lenora; and his son-in-law Ronald Wayne Whitt, Jr. (Thompson). He is survived by: his mother Hilda Britt; his friend Miriam F. Thompson; his daughters, Christie Whitt and Nicole Moreno (Emilio); his brothers, James "Jimmy" R. Pulley, Robert Thompson and R. Keith Thompson; and his grandchildren, Kayla (Brooke), Kedan (Katherine), Nickolas and Christian. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
