He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Williams Brockwell and Sterling Monroe Brockwell, Sr.; and his brother Sterling Monroe Brockwell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dede; his children, Brian Brockwell and Lee Brockwell; his brothers, Benjamin Brockwell (Tillie) and Dr. Charles Brockwell (Anne); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Downey Brockwell.
