She is survived by: her brother Balubhai Patel (Kusumben) of Leicester; her daughters, Nila Nathu (Nagin Nathu) of Murray and Jyoti Patel (Ramesh Patel) of Durham; her grandchildren, Priyesh (Jyoti), Kisen (Vidya), Nirav (Priya) and Vishal; and her great grandchildren, Ian, Kaya, Rylan, Remy, Anya and Aren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hall-Wynne Funeral Service & Crematory (1113 W Main St, Durham, NC 27701).
