It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherri Humphries Herndon of Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Coy Neal Humphries. She is survived by: her husband Alphus Herndon Jr.; her children, Tommy Herndon (Cynthia) and Susan Caceres (Stephan); her grandsons, Jarrett Herndon and Jeremy Caceres; her sister-in-law Edna H Smith (Tommy); her stepgranddaughters, Melissa Caceres and Katelyn Smith; her sister Bonnie Kissell (Rouse); and her nieces, Angela Nathaniel (Ron) and Jill Hunter (Ian).
