He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Bordelon and Sims Roy, Sr.; and his sister Gaynelle Rabalais. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Roy; his children, Mark Roy, William "Joey" Roy (Mechelle) and Elizabeth Felix (Adrian); his grandchildren, Avery and Garrett; and his brothers, Cecil Roy (Susan) and Sherwin Roy (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
