He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Irene Martin and Charles Henry Martin; and his siblings, John David Martin, Ester Lanier and Bonnie Love.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Martin (Stewart); his son Gabriel Martin (Briana) of Cary; his grandsons, Charlie and Theodore; and his brothers, Philip Martin of Apex, Daniel Martin (Sue) and Dennis Martin of Greensboro.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Living Waters Christian Community Church (1104 Lynn Rd, Durham, NC 27703).
