It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tennielean Hill Fletcher (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Isaac and Pattie Sue Day Hill; and her grandparents, David Tennie and Rebecca Clayton Day. She is survived by : her daughter Tamara Sue Fletcher; her husband Harold David Fletcher; her son Harold David Fletcher, II (Sherri); her grandchildren, Joanna Nicole Fletcher and James Patrick Dodson; and her siblings, Willa Hill Berry and James Thomas Hill (Renee). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Millard and Marty Thacker wrote a sympathy message

“Saddened for the lost of Teenie Hill Fletcher. Our thoughts and prayers to Harold and the entire family. Teenie was a dear friend to Marty and me and our entire family. She always met me with these words "do you remember that I was the recipient of the first Rougemont Ruritan Club's scholarship!" My reply was "yes and proud of you!" She is a tremendous lost to our community.”
