It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Jordan (Durham, North Carolina), who passed away on February 9, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Jordan to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Allen Jordan and Lizzie Edwards Jordan; her siblings, Polly Jordan, Muriel Jordan McDade (Henry McDade, Sr.), Mary Gray Jordan, Charlie Allen Jordan and Henry Best Jordan; and her niece Katie Caroline McDade.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Anne McDade Smith (Tony), H. C. McDade Jr. (Sharon), Charles M. McDade (Audrey) and Michelle McDade Cook (David); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma Smith, Claire Smith, Henry McDade III, John McDade (Maggie), April Lewis (Michael), Laurina Sigmon (Doug), Charlie McDade Jr., Jason Smith (Jenny), Lauren Bailey (Alan) and Kristen Odum (Andy); Zain Cooper McDade, Allie Sigmon, Sullivan, Analeigh Smith, Kenzie Odum, Jeremy, Daniel, Will, Amelia and Audrey Ann Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Lowes Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund: 4430 S. Alston Ave., Durham, NC 27712; or to Crippled Children's Foundation 2019 4th Ave., N., Suite 100, Birmingham, AL 35203.
