He was predeceased by: his parents, Lt Cmdr Wade E Marlette and Martha Ruth Hayes Marlette (Durham). He is survived by: his brother Graham Hayes Marlette; his godson Robert G Kirkpatrick III; and his cousin Ernest Marlette.
