He is survived by: his son Tawan Alexander of Durham; his stepson Tyrell Alexander of Durham; his siblings, Evelyn Bullock (George) of Warrenton, Hattie Allen (Crawford) of Union, Deacon Rufus Alexander, Sr. (Gloria) of Warrenton and Reverend Kenneth Alexander, Sr. (Cynthia) of Durham; his aunts, Dr. Esther Terry of Warrenton and Mozelle Alexander of East Elmhurst; his siblings-in-law, Karen Branch of Stem, Gwendolyn Watkins of Irvington, Wendy Pettiford of Middleburg, Edward Watkins of Wise, Tony Watkins of Warrenton and Gregory Watkins of Warrenton; and his friend Evelyn Bullock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the R. H. Greene Funeral Service (109 Front St, Warrenton, NC 27589). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Locust Grove Baptist Church (386 Paschall Sta Rd, Warrenton, NC 27589). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (386 Paschall Sta Rd, Warrenton, NC 27589).
